We are pleased to announce the call for proposals for NIH Faculty / REPS Research Grants 2026

Eligibility: UP Manila regular Faculty and REPsMaximum grant amount: Php 500,000 per project (MOOE only)

Priority areas for research (based on the NUHRA 2023-2028):

  • Disease Management
  • Halal in Health
  • Health Security, Emergency, and Disaster Risk Management
  • Health Technology and Innovation
  • Health of Vulnerable Populations
  • Health Promotion
  • Health Systems Strengthening Towards UHC
  • Maternal, Newborn and Child Health
  • Mental Health
  • Nutrition and Food Security
  • Sexual and Reproductive Health

Requirements:
Send the following documents via email to src.nih.upm@up.edu.ph:

  • Word file and PDF of the full proposal with detailed LIB (MOOE only), following the NIH Research Grant Project Proposal format;
  • Endorsement letter signed by the unit head/ institute director, department chair, and dean of the academic unit;
  • Certificate of RGAO Registration;
  • UPMREB/IACUC/IBBC Certificate of Approval/ Exemption from review, or Acknowledgment Letter with panel assignment

Deadline of submissions: 31 October 2025 (Friday) / 11:59PM. For more information, please read the attached Memorandum and the accompanying guidelines.
